Goin' on a Frog Hunt

Jordan has become such a sweet little girl in the last few months. She is learning to read and she can count to a hundred three different ways. She loves to draw and spends hours every day making pictures. Last week she caught a frog in the back yard. She put it in a box but felt so bad about not having any bugs for it to eat she let it go. Days later we told her we saw it by the pool. That evening before bedtime, she put on her high heel wedgies and grabbed Torrin's butterfly net and tip-toed out to try to catch the frog again when I snapped this picture.

A Day in the Live of Torrin

I am a little behind on my blogging as usual. I took these pictures of Torrin "watching" TV. She had made herself a mountain of pillows inches away from the tv.

She seemed suspiciously quite so I went in for a closer look and this is what I found...

She was sound asleep.

Here is a picture of a highly decorated Torrin. I can't even imagine what kinds of thoughts are rattling around in her head.

Torrin is a unique little girl. She brings us hours of amusement and joy every day.

Today was Torrin's 4th birthday. She had a super fun birthday 

party at the family fun center with her family and friends. 

Torrin's sister Jordan and friend Miley were there to 

help her open presents and sing happy birthday. 

Torrin got too excited with all the singing and blew out 

the candles before the song was over.

Torrin had a long day playing hard and growing up to be a big 4 year old.

Angelita's Birthday Party

    I am so slow to get things on this blog. A couple of Saturday's ago we celebrated Angelita's birthday. Angelita has been my friend for many years. She used to watch my girls when they were little and then I watched her kids and then my kids watched her kids and now she and her daughter watch my kids' kids. Whew.  Happy Birthday Angelita!
